Why students are not ??

There are no translations available.

I heard that, in exile, students are not allowed to take any part of freedom struggle in their school.

But Teachers always keep  saying  ``  Students are the future seed of Tibet ``

If root is decay, then how can rise our issues effectively and productively.

I think it is not a matter of decaying the root if students do not take part in the freedom struggle.

In the history of freedom struggle and revolutions, the student movements were at some extend, very powerful and effective in achieving the goals and demands of many activities. Those were more successful in peaceful demonstrations.

Regarding your question in our case, I think that our running time is more precious than anything and it is very important for the future seed of Tibet to focus more on studies.

While we are in school, time is still more precious. If school students get involved in political activities, there are more tendencies for the school children to trap only in political perspective. Their interest in studies might get down from the emotion level.

The future seeds of a nation should never be emotional and one sided at all. The reason being, the students are very flexible and tender by nature.
Thereof, it is very important for them to improve all round personality development.

If they involve in political activities, I think the rationality and intellectual skills in school students shall definitely go to seed.

In a nutshell, it is time for students to develop root from all sides. They should not fall only in political ground. I really appreciate your aspiration. Your opinion is common in almost all the Tibetan students in exile.

In Mao’s time, millions of students took part in politics but individual careers and aspirations were not fulfilled at the end. Though, time has changed, but it is essential to learn from historical fact and past account.

In school, students are supposed to learn political skills and study the hidden issues or problems. I feel it is of the essence for them to think and understand about long run and go ahead to learn the skills how to build our nation successfully from every prospect of a nation state.

Dear Friend

i highly appreciate your perspective, but i could not agree with your point of view on Tibetan students in exile and their future. you were talking about ERA OF Mao. in the Era of Mao, students took revolution and lead China in many direction and that made great impact in history of China. but education is all around developemt. rite ? without learning political issues in school ? how could student could make remarkable figure in future ? is there political study in tibetan schools in exile ? what is the main purpose of giving education for these Tibetan Students in Exile ? without strong knowledge about Tibetan political Issue, how could these small kids be a good seed of future Tibet ? what does mean Future Tibet for a Individual Tibetan ? do you think that these Tibetan kids in Exile given full education included political issues of Tibet and China ?
