Dharamshala May 11: In an impressive show of sporting prowess, the Tibetan side beat the rival Indian team in a charity football match between the Tibetan National team v/s a local Indian team from Sidhpur locality here at Upper TCV football ground on 8 May.
The Tibetan side scored 3 goals against the rival who lost the match to a 3-0 score after the final whistle.
The charity match organised by Tibetan National Sports Association attracted donations of Rs. 30000/- which is believed to be given for the victims and affected families of the quake-hit region of Keygudo.
The Tibetan side also played against an another Indian team in a football match at Kangra Police academy ground on 8 May and the Tibetans side scored an unbelievable 11 goals this time while the latter scored nil.
However, the Indian side beat the Tibetan National team 1-0 in a match on the following day 9 May.
